Personally i find very offensive the comments of joung black people comparing Michael Jackson with some rapers when he has nothing to do with that kind of music.
Michael always sang about issues that affected the black community and the world at large. He sang about gang violence in "Beat it" and about crime in "Bad". He sang about baby mama drama in "Billie Jean". He sang about personal responsability in "Man in the mirror". In "We are the world", he reminded us that we must all help when some one is in trouble.
Meanwhile, today's rappers brag about absolutely nothing.
Did he sell drogs and kill people and brag about it? No. Did he exploit black woman in his videos? No. Did he dress like a gangbanger to sell songs? No.
Maybe if rappers listened more to Michael and less to rappers, they would be stuck in is music.
